Khabar TV
Khabar TV is a nationwide public television channel broadcasting generalist Kazakh and Russian language programming. Its broadcasting began in 1994 as a trial service. In 1995, regular broadcasts started. It replaced the Qazaqstan Radio and Television Corporation’s Alatau. The channel, formerly 24KZ, took over the frequencies of the regional channel El Arna and launched a news service of the same name.
The channel’s new Director, Zhaina Slambek, was previously a presenter at the Qazaqstan TV channel Apta. She graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and began her career at Khabar Agency in 1996. She later joined the Astana TV channel where she presented the information and analytical program Bizdin uakyt. Her contribution to domestic television journalism was recognized with a Presidential Award in 2016.

To protect the native ohana downstream of the sugar diversion, Kalakaua wrote a clause into Crown Lands leases. The water from the streams was diverted to irrigate sugar plantations in Central Maui. The water that had once sustained life in East Maui now flows out of streams like scars. While families remained in areas where the wai was not diverted, life on the island dwindled to a trickle.
The Office of Hawaiian Affairs publishes the free monthly magazine Ka News Wai Ola o OHA to keep the Hawaiian community informed of important events. It also includes a calendar of events that interest the Hawaiian community. Including these events in the calendar is not an endorsement or validation of the event or its organizers. Regardless of its purpose, the publication’s content promotes a sense of community pride.
Apo is not the only person arguing for a four-legged stool for nation-building. He also wants to separate the races of Hawaiians. He has long been a vocal advocate of separating the races to protect Ka News Hawaii’s unique culture. However, that approach is causing divisions among Hawaiians. The two groups do not have the same cultural beliefs or language. They disagree on the definition of what “haole” means.

Thiamin is a water-soluble vitamin that is essential for the human body’s functioning. It also helps to prevent various diseases including beriberi, a disease that affects the digestive system, skin, and brain. Thiamin is often referred to as anti-stress vitamin as it boosts the immune system during times of stress. However, thiamin is not a banned supplement for athletes in the United States, and there are no definitive studies on the benefits or harm of this vitamin.
Vitamin B1 is also known as thiamin. It plays a role in nerve function and glucose metabolism. It is water-soluble and is transported through the bloodstream. Excess water-soluble vitamins are excreted in the urine. Foods high in Vitamin B1 are the outer layers of cereals, whole grains, lentils, beans, and yeast.
